Oak Toads, Bufo quercicus, were also present and calling, although they are not readily heard against the background of the larger toad. Recorded near Placida, Florida, at 2:10 a.m. on July 27, 1957.

I saw these guys perform tracks from/related to this record at the Hirschhorn museum and it was one of the most entertaining things I’ve ever experienced. What a fun record. petnoodle
